We ask that you remove any lash extensions at least two days prior to your appointment 

 

Please bring a case for your contact lenses as these will need to be removed during the procedure.

 

Please do not curl your eyelashes, perm, do a lash lift, or tint your lashes for two days prior to your appointment

 

Bring a pair of sunglasses with you for after the procedure as eyes may be light sensitive 

 

If you have had any type of eye surgery please consult with the physician about how long you should wait before having a permanent eyeliner procedure. Most of the time it is about two months after any cataract, lasik or blepharoplasty surgery.  You will require a letter from your physician clearing us to do the procedure if it is before or around this amount of time since the surgery has been performed

 

We recommend that you do not consume any stimulants such as coffee in the 12 hours prior to your appointment.

 

We ask that you cease the use of any topical or oral anti acne antibiotics or treatments at least one fortnight prior to your appointment.  If you are unsure please consult with your doctor.

 

Please cease taking fish oil tablets and any other non prescription tablets or vitamins  which are blood thinners at least ONE WEEK prior to your appointment.

 

Please advise us prior to your appointment if you have any pre existing medical conditions or are pregnant, breastfeeding, on any blood thinning medication or have had anti wrinkle Injectables  within the past fortnight.  Some of these conditions may mean that you will need a note from your doctor before we can go ahead with the procedure and some may mean that we cannot proceed with it at all or it may need to be delayed.

We also recommend that you wear minimal makeup to your appointment and bring something warm to wear or put over yourself during the treatment.

 

Please note that antihistamines taken before the procedure may reduce swelling and help you relax and can also help to reduce the amount of water your eyes will produce during the procedure which can dilute the pigment which is being implanted.

 

 

 LIP TATTOO PREP

 

 

We ask that you do not wax tweeze or thread the area for one week prior to your treatment 

 

We recommend that you do not consume any stimulants such as coffee in the 12 hours prior to your appointment.

If you have had lip filler treatments please be aware that you must wait three weeks minimum before having your lips tattooed.  If you have had lip surgery which has required an incision such as a lip implant, the incision needs to mature about six months before tattooing over it.

If you are prone to cold sores you must  visit the chemist PRIOR to your appointment and request EZOVIR tablets.  These need to be one week prior to as well as a couple of hours before your tattoo appointment.  These tablets are anti viral and will prevent your lips from breaking out in cold sores.  It is absolutely essential that you take these tablets unless you have a medical reason not to, as tattooing the lips will cause an outbreak even if you have had only one cold sore in the past and will create scar tissue which will substantially affect the end result of your tattoo.

 

Please note for your comfort you must make an appointment booked 30 mins or as close to that time as possible prior to your lip tattoo appointment at
